Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
We forced 18 turnovers in back-to-back games, and that’s something that we have worked on a lot, and were able to do against Panathinaikos in previous game, and now against Efes, such a talented team, with a lot of good ballhandlers, a lot of good isolation players, a lot of good creators. We forced them into 18 turnovers, and that’s the key. It shows us, although maybe we don’t get that much of a credit on their 80 points, but I’m telling you we did a pretty good job, besides the first quarter, on defense. What we are looking for now is the continuity and consistency on what we are doing. It’s not easy because we miss practices, we miss the chemistry, but today I’m happy with my players. They responded well.
