Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
Congratulations to the team on another victory in EuroLeague marathon. It was an important win against great organization, great team, that plays great basketball, with great coaching staff. Congratulations to the fans who supported us tonight. It is great to see the sold-out crowd, that says that our club is doing big job of creating basketball culture over here and it is paying off. Regarding the game, we wanted to start very aggressively, in abnormal tempo. We worked on this a lot during our practices and we kept that tempo for 12 minutes, making shot, creating the turnovers. We watched the third quarter of our game in Madrid several times, we won it 20-11 and got back into game, so we wanted to take good things out of it. Still we are not alone on the court, Real reacted, the second half belonged to them. The opponents were able to slow down our halfcourt offense, they were making shots, they supported there shots with offensive rebounding. Still we were the better team today and got the win.
