Word to the coach
Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
We have two games left in the VTB League regular season. The first one will be against Zenit, a good team that feels confident in the playoff zone. They deserve our full respect. Zenit is a dangerous opponent, so we have to be focused for all 40 minutes.
Past matchups
Until the last season Zenit was the only Russian team in the league that never beat the Army Men. CSKA won 23 games in a row (including 18 games against Triumph Liubertsy) but lost the last two in St.Setersburg.
