CSKA won its 10th game in Russian Superleague. The team played on the road in Chekhov against Dynamo from Moscow region. The final result is 89-73. Three CSKA players scored 13 points. They are Marcus Brown, Zakhar Pashutin and David Andersen. Antonio Granger added 12 points and Martin Muursepp – 10.

Dynamo (Moscow Region) vs CSKA: 73-89

Up to the middle of the first quarter CSKA could not get used to the baskets of Olympiysky Sports Hall. The shots from the distance did not want to get into the baskets at all. Dynamo took the lead as CSKA tried to solve the problem – 12-2. But as soon as the Army club found the solution – to score from under the basket – the situation has changed completely. CSKA managed to become a leader until the end of the first quarter – 24-23.

Dynamo tried to create another problem for the Moscovites with the zone defense. CSKA was forced to stop controlling the game once more but in the beginning of the second half the way to the basket was found once again.

The next CSKA game in Superleague is going to be held next Saturday. The game is expected to be a very important one as UNICS would be the guest of the Army club.
CSKA is still on the top of the Superleague table followed by UNICS.

The head coach of CSKA Dusan Ivkovic:

- It was very good game with two absolutely different halves. Dynamo has shown very good game in the first half. Our defense one-to-one worked bad till the big rest. The situation has changed in the second half. I don’t like to take off one of my players, but today I want to notice good game of Zakhar Pashutin. He didn’t participate in three last games, but today his entering to the game was really good. In the third quarter we could recover and get the leadership, then keep it to the final buzzer. I respect very much team of Dynamo. It is good and experienced team. I think that today was our most difficult road game.

The head coach of Dynamo Eugeny Kovalenko:

- Today we tried to show good basketball. Against CSKA we need to play on the highest level all 40 minutes. But playing against the pressure of the army team my players became tired in the third quarter. CSKA could recover and get the leadership. The had better roster then our, and it wasn’t difficult for them to keep the advantage till the end. The lose of Gulyas was difficult for us too. His injure is more serious then e expected. We had to play not our game using power forwards on the position of center.
