Andrey Maltsev, CSKA-2 head coach:
My compliments to Sasha Khomenko. He deserved to be named MVP on our team. The confidence that he brings to the team gives its effect. Obviously, he still makes mistakes but he is more confident on the floor, he becomes a leader even though he is younger than others. With the game of this level he would be able to play well against Barcelona tomorrow. I am happy that he improved, that he enjoys working with the main team, that he brings his energy here. In my opinion, it was a good game, I am sad that we lost but I think the fans are happy. Maybe they were upset with our start in overtime where we allowed 6 points in a row. I think those who were able to play just ran out of fuel, others just weren’t ready to step up in this kind of crazy game.
