Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
I want to congratulate my team. We were a better team and controlled the game from beginning to the end. We saw two different halves. Except the opening two minutes, in the first half we were very good and everything looked easy. We shared the ball well, followed the plan on the defensive end. We forced turnovers and hit shots. In the second half we expected that Bayern would react because of the character they have as a team. We played a solid game, and managed to bring another win. Obviously, it is middle of November and we still didn’t meet our potential. We have to be more consistent in what we are doing. In the EuroLeague, nothing is given. Remember that Bayern set records in scoring and three-pointers just days ago. They are playing very good on that end. We were hurt a little bit on the boards and in the inside game, and we did not solve that well. That’s a good point for us to work on in the upcoming games. It was great atmosphere, and it was great to play in this legendary arena.
