Димитрис Итудис, главный тренер ЦСКА:
Congratulations to the team on the win. As I said in pre-game interview, Buducnost became stronger recently with its new additions, coach, philosophy. I am not a magician, but I think they would be in the playoff race, if the season was in its initial stage. So we prepared for the game with this thoughts in our heads. There are several pionts of emphasis in this game. We started good, played solid offense, kept them low on defense. But in the second quarter we had three “extra” turnovers that led to fast break points. Buducnost is good in this quick game with Cole, Bell and Clarke leading their transition. We allowed 27 points in the quarter, that’s too much. Therefore we had a long talk in the locker room, we watched highlights to see our mistakes. After that we catched the momentum defensively and allowed just 22 points in the second half. Overall we played good game against good team. This competition, for each and every team, is tough. There are no easy wins out there – you’ve got to go and earn it, so I have to congratulate my players. There were also some great personal achievements like Kyle getting 7 assists, Nando a personal best PIR of 38, and Ivan Ukhov scoring his first field goal in EuroLeague.
