Our team hits the road again. This time CSKA is set to face Avtodor Saratov.

Pre-game breakdown

13 players boarded the Aeroflot Superjet. Injured Mikhail Kulagin stayed in Moscow as well as Cory Higgins and Othello Hunter who are left at home due to the foreigners’ limit. Alexander Khomenko joined the teammates on the trip.

Word to the coach

Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
Avtodor is a very good offensive team with a variety of talented players, which is translated into their scoring average: they have almost 93 points per game under their new coach. For us after the EuroLeague double week the most important thing is to see how we can handle the pace of the game. It is always tough to play in Saratov so we expect a difficult game.
