Head coach Dimitris Itoudis signed the new contract with our club until the end of 2020-21 season.

The Greek specialist is in charge for the Army Men since the summer of 2014. During this period the team won two EuroLeague titles (2016, 2019) and dominated in the VTB United League. Itoudis was awarded with the Alexander Gomelsky trophy as the coach of the year in EuroLeague in 2016, he was also recognized as the best coach of the VTB League three times. Dimitris passed Ettore Messina as the winningest coach for CSKA in EuroLeague past season. His overall record in official games is 290-49 (85.5%).

Andrey Vatutin, CSKA President:
Two titles in five years speak for themselves, so Dimitris Itoudis and his staff solved the tasks. And it is not only about the successes in sports. We see how much love, highest responsibility and huge respect to CSKA Dimitris is investing into his work, how attentive is he to the results of the club’s activities. Partly due to the work of the coaching staff that makes the team play spectacular basketball, that helps to create friendly, family-like atmosphere inside the team, we bring more and more fans to the stands. I am sure that we will have many more big wins in all directions together.

Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
