Center Kyle Hines (32 y.o., 198 cm) signed new “1+1” contract with CSKA.

Hines is the only active player who has 4 EuroLeague titles (2 with Olympiacos and 2 with CSKA). His sports success together with competitive spirit and gentleman behavior off the court made Kyle one of the most respective players in the Old World, the EuroLeague Players Union Vice President and One Team Global Ambassador.

In his 6 years with CSKA Hines became the old-timer, the team’s symbol. He is sixth in games played (370) in red and blue uniform, right behind Theodoros Papaloukas (382). The center showcased amazing stability: his averages (7.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 0.7 blocked shots, 19.6 minutes over CSKA career) didn’t change much from year to year.

In 2018 Kyle has become the second foreign CSKA captain
(after Matjaz Smodis) and first CSKA American captain. He was able to lift EuroLeague and VTB League trophies in his first year on duty.

Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
Kyle is our captain, a true leader in the locker room and on the court, my right hand. He is with the club for six years and we have been working for five years together. I am happy that we will continue with such a great character and player.

Kyle Hines, CSKA center:
I’m happy to be returning back to CSKA. I thank the Management and Coach for giving me this opportunity. I look forward to continuing to fight for the fans of CSKA and the future of bringing more titles and championships back to Moscow.
