Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
We came here to play friendly games, they will help us make conclusions, at least with the players that we worked with. We were shorthanded, we missed 7 players. National Team players join us tomorrow and we don’t risk now with Strelnieks foot. We played some tough games. Today we played against talented team and we played pretty good. Defensively we were there. When we had stamina and good level of concentration we brought it to “plus 18”. A lot of things happened after, and it is good, because we got direct messages and we know what to work on. We should have brought the game easily, smoothly to the end. They managed to force turnovers and score quick three-pointers, we did not use fouls properly. It is good that we manage to win with defense and wise offense. Overall it was a good tournament.
