Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
Congratulations on the victory. We played serious tonight. We started off defense, we defended really well. We missed two bigs – Kyle had a fever and Kosta was out with injury. Still at halftime we had 86% of effectiveness in defending the block. And this is the strongest side of Olympiacos that has Milutinov, Printezis and others. We also won the rebounding battle. Gomelsky Cup is very prestigious, it’s good to take it. Unfortunately, we did not play with full roster yet. So the starting games of the season will be part of our preparation, of building the new team.
