Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
I would like to congratulate my team. In the third quarter, Zenit had their momentum and came back to tie the game, but it actually showed we have a character. Even though they tied the game, we came up with big shots, some good ball movement, some good defenses – and won by a big margin. Winning the rebounds over here is very important, and we had that as a target. I think we did a pretty good job today. It is what is all about in back-to-back [games] and showed some character on a tough road trip against a team that just won on the road against Zalgiris. Today we kept our composure, and this composure it is something that can lead us in a correct and good direction. Besides the shots we made and the ball movement we had, and transition game, our defense was at a very good level, which is another plus.
