Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
I would like to congratulate Baskonia for this win. Unfortunately, we did not meet our potential for most of the game. We had a very bad start and a very bad ending. We brought the game to 67-70, and they went 13-0. No composure, not good decisions offensively and defensively. In the last quarter, they went 13 times to the free-throw line and we could not have the composure to try to draw good plays. Baskonia had 18 turnovers, but we had 21. With so many turnovers it is very difficult to win, on the road especially, but also at home. We had good looks, we did not use them, but too many turnovers have taken away possibilities to have good looks, try to draw some fouls, be in a contact game, create better situations in circumstances. It is quite disappointing for my team because we can’t rely on some good stretches. We did not have the brain at the end to bring the game where we were supposed to bring it.
