Sant-Roos moved to CSKA from AEK Athens, where he played since 2018. The contract with the player signed until the end of 2022-23 season with club’s and player’s options in the end of this season.
The Cuban player started his career as a junior in Italy. He played in German third division, his first team on the serious level was Nymburk where he played against CSKA in the VTB League. Sant-Roos took two Czech League titles and got a chance to play in the NBA Summer League for the Denver Nuggets. In 2017 he signed with Darussafaka and won the EuroCup with the team.
Sant-Roos has a reputation of the perimeter defensive specialist. He was named the Greek League Defensive Player of the Year last season and helped AEK win the FIBA Intercontinental Cup.
Howard’s averages this season: 9.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.2 steals in the Greek League, 12.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.2 steals in the FIBA Champions League.
