The American player just finished his second season in European basketball but he already displays great potential. Hilliard joined the Army Men a year ago and he already proved to be solid 3-point specialist. Darrun made 41.2% of long-distance shots, his 85 shots made are second on the team to Mike James (114). He also finished 7th in EuroLeague in three-pointers made (56). The guard was CSKA second-leading scorer (after James) averaging 11.1 points, including 10.6 in EuroLeague games.
Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
The club’s coaching staff and management has a high value for Darrun’s effort, we see big space for development and player’s willingness to become a top player. We are happy that we will continue our collaboration.
Darrun Hilliard, CSKA guard:
I am very fortunate and blessed to continue playing for CSKA. I feel really good about our team. We have a great understanding of the coaching staff and understanding how great of a opportunity we all have! Thank you to all of our fans and supporters! I will use every chance to improve as a player and help bring more titles to the Army Club!
