The first game of the quarterfinal serie between CSKA and Ural Great finished by the expected victory of hosts. But this results probably did not answered all questions about the readiness of the Army team before Euroleague Final Four.

CSKA vs Ural Great: 104-91

The head coach of CSKA Dusan Ivkovic:

- I think that we deserved this victory. I want to congratulate my players with the victory in the first play-off game. This two games are our last games before the Final Four and I expect more aggressive defense. Ural Great scored 29 points in the first quarter, it is too much for our team like preparation to F4. Even we lost the last quarter, but I gave opportunity to play all the team, and all players scored points. But we did not played one team basketball. Now we have to prepare for tomorrow game.

The head coach of Ural Great Valdemaras Chomicius:

- I am satisfied of our game. May be my team could not do all that we want, but they tried. Some moments we tried to slow down the rhythm of the game and could do it. Our main problem we had when we started to play like we can’t, when they tried to show beautiful game. We need to play team basketball. Also we need to play better in the defense, we missed 104 points, it is too much.
