CSKA outscored Khimki in the first match of the semifinal serie 112-89.

CSKA vs Khimki: 122-89

CSKA rival had a lot of troubles from a very start of the game. Poor rebounding performance, bad shooting percentage led the team to 5-20 on the 4th minute of the game.
Most every player of CSKA enjoyed Khimki decision to play in an offensive style. David Andersen scored 24 points, Marcus Brown - 17, Antonio Granger - 16, Vasily Zavoruev
- 14, Dimos Dikoudis - 13. But the game in general looked like the result was known a long before it started.

The head coach of CSKA Dusan Ivkovic:

- It was our deserved victory, but much easy then I expect. We were very serious. The game practically finished after the first quarter which we won by 23 points. We played very aggressive in the beginning, Holden played like machine, he played very good game today. We gave opportunity to play all players, and every of them scored points. Now we need to forget this game and start to prepare to tomorrow. Now we will go to the hotel, after the dinner we will see football game between CSKA and Sporting in the final of UEFA Cup. Tomorrow we need to be very concentrate.
