The flight with Unicaja players aboard landed in Moscow with the 25 minutes delay. It took the team rather a long time to get to USK CSKA through all the traffic jams. But finally the Spanish side was in time for the practice. Of course we could not miss an opportunity to talk to Marcus Brown:
What is your impression on coming back to Moscow?
- It is good to see everyone. But we have a game to prepare for and I don’t have much time to talk to everyone.
What do you think would be the supporters’ reaction on your appearance tomorrow?
- I think it is normal that most of them would support CSKA. But I guess I would have some cheer from some of them.
And what would be your reaction on the words ‘Marcus, come back’, if they would be pronounce?
- The team has moved on and signed another player, they have to make deal with what they have now. On the other side I have my new team and there is no way right now for me to come back. Everyone has to deal with the current situation and that’s the thing.
CSKA comes off two losses in a row and Unicaja plays a road game. Is it a reason for the both teams to be very motivated in the game?
- It is going to be the regular Euroleague game. A very important one for the both teams. CSKA plays well, even if they lost two games in a row. J.R. plays well, everyone else is also ready to play. They have a home game and it is their advantage. On the other hand the game is also important for us.
