Ettore Messina: We made our life complicated ourselves

At the press conference after the game the CSKA head coach Ettore Messina admitted that in the first half the team made the game complicated theirselves. ‘The reason was too fast shots with low percentage and the fact we allowed 12 offensive rebounds, which is not acceptable at the level. We reestablished the situation in the second half and we could impose our rhythm. We were more patient to find open shots and our defense was more efficient with only 24 points for Pau in the second half. It is always hard to find good things in a defeat but I think we improved compared to past games. We can be proud of our first half as we were at their level during the first 20 minutes but in the third quarter we had problems due to their pressure.
