CSKA would start to play this year with a game against Panathinaikos. The Greek club arrived in Moscow yesterday and practiced twice at the arena of the USH CSKA. All the tickets for the game are sold out and it seems to be a great start of the year.
On the other hand it is clear that David Vanterpool would not be able to take part in the game tonight. ‘He is still following his individual program, - says CSKA head coach Ettore Messina. – It is not determined yet when he would be able to join the team practices so even his participation in a game against Unicaja is questionable’.
According to the Euroleague.net web site report Panathinaikos would miss some players too. Femerling and Alvertis are out of the game for sure. Tomasevic had a foot injury but would likely be able to play.
