The second super derby of 2005/06 season ended with CSKA’s win. Army club’s run in the second quarter gave our team «+20» advantage. However CSKA couldn’t escape a hard fight in the end. Dynamo managed to cut the difference to 5 points, but it didn’t help them much.

Dynamo Moscow - CSKA: 74-81

Quick facts about the game:

• CSKA received 32 fouls. It is the highest number of fouls received by CSKA this season in all the official games

• CSKA made only 6 turnovers. It is a repeat of the best result for CSKA this season in all the official games

• CSKA made 10 assists. It is a repeat of a team low for CSKA this season in all the official games

• Theodoros Papaloukas scored his 100th point in Superleague this season

• David Vanterpool collected his 100th rebound in all the official games this season

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:

- I am very pleased with the way my team played in the second quarter. We made good passes, fast-breaks, played good defense. The second half was psychologically tough for us. At the end of the third quarter Papaloukas’ technical foul gave Dynamo a hope to save the game. I am happy that we managed to control the rhythm of the game till its finish despite the foul trouble. I would like to distinguish Zakhar Pashutin for the first quarter and Nikita Kurbanov for the second period and the ending. Both of them helped us a lot tonight.
