Ettore Messina,CSKA head coach

- At first I want to congratulate Bamberg and the head coach of the team Dirk Bauermann with the great season they spend in the Euroleague. They became the first German team ever to qualify to TOP16 and they played a true game every time – no matter if it was at home or away. We started the game very well, we were good on the both ends on the court especially in the second quarter. But then we relaxed a bit too much. We have forgotten that our rival is a team with a great pride. And this is the subject for us to discuss after the game. On the other hand it is a great deal for us to reach the home court advantage in the plays off after we lost David Andersen.

Dirk Bauermann, Bamberg head coach
- I want to congratulate CSKA and Ettore Messina with the first place in the group. We did not play well tonight. The only thing I am happy with is that we showed the pride and cut down the CSKA lead in the second half. I have to give a lot of credits for my players for this. They were not that scared after the half time break.
