It was a first and last loss for CSKA in Euroleague Top 16-05/06. In the game that couldn't influence the group standings Army men lost to Tau from Vitoria - 63-70.

TAU - CSKA: 70-63

• CSKA finished Top 16 group F on the first place with 5-1 record and qualified to quarter-final round

• CSKA had the lowest 1-Pt shooting percentage – 40 (2-5) - in all the official games this season

• CSKA made only 5 attempts from the line. It is a team low for CSKA this season in all the official games

• JR Holden made 6 turnovers. It's a first time CSKA player made so many turnovers in a single game this season

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:

- We played rather well during the first three quarters. TAU managed to overweigh us only in the last period using pressing.

What can you say about CSKA’s future rival in quarterfinal round – Efes Pilsen?

- Everybody says that we are lucky because we escaped PAO in play-off. But I absolutely disagree with this opinion. Turkish team has enough big men to make some pressure on the boards and this means some additional work for Alexey Savrasenko and Tomas Van Den Spiegel. And besides they have Antonio Granger who will do his best to prove to everyone from CSKA that we made a mistake when we decided not to keep him in the team.
