The game against Sibirtelecom marked for CSKA the last home game this season that was not important for the standing or making it to the other stage of any of the tournament. CSKA managed to build some kind of lead from the very start – 16-0. But by the beginning of the second quarter it disappeared – 20-20. But several good shots of Panov, Zakhar Pashutin and 5 points in a row by Alexey Savrasenko helped the team to come back to control the game. Since then CSKA never looked back. The game made it to CSKA history in the end. Theodoros Papaloukas made his first ever triple-double – 12 points, 12 rebounds and 16 assists. The last CSKA player to make triple-double was Andrei Kirilenko.

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:

- It was a good game and a chance for everyone on our roster to play. Everybody has a good game but especially I want to mention Theodoros Papaloukas. This triple-double would mark his career.

Theodoros Papaloukas, CSKA guard :

- This is the first triple-double in my career and I guess the last one. It was really hard to achieve the numbers and you need a special type of the game to do so. In the half time the guys told me I am close to the numbers and I asked for their help with rebounds. I mean if other player and I had an opportunity to get the ball I asked to leave it for me. They did it and I really appreciate it.
