There was no pre game show this time at USH CSKA. It was a way for our team to express our regrets and condolences to the relatives of the victims of aircraft crash near Sochi. The cheerleaders did not perform on the same reason. This made the atmosphere in the hall calm, home-like as the game itself did not bring any surprises. CSKA was the leader from the very first minute and the maximum advantage of the team excided 35 points in the last quarter.

CSKA - Lokomotiv Rostov: 94-55

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:

- As we hoped we played better tonight. More players put the effort in the game. Plus the absence of injuried Sokolov in the 3rd and 4th quarters damaged Lokomotiv. But we still have the space to improve and I guess we would show it in the next game.

Aleksandar Petrovic, Lokomotiv head coach:

- Two games of the series are not the same. CSKA for sure made analyses on the first match and did not want to play games with their authority in front of their own public. We did not play well in the defense. Our big men Nesterov and Sokolov got injuried but I hope both would be able to recover before the 3rd game. It would be our turn not to cover ourselves in shame in front of our fans.
