Tonight defensive minister of Russian Federation Sergey Ivanov gave a reception in CSKA honor. Official part included the speech of the minister who mentioned all the achievents made by the club this season, pointed out every player and coach contribution in the Euroleague Finals. And of course said some words on late Alexander Gomelsky.
After the speech the decree of the minister was read out. According to it the team captain Sergey Panov was given the rank of lieutenant of the Russian Army. All the other players of the main team, the coaching staff, the president of the team and some office members were given the medals, junior team players received the watches.
