Yesterday in Athens Theodoros Papaloukas put his signature under the new contract with CSKA.

- I am happy that the board of directors of our club accepted our arguments and agreed to offer the player the new deal, - says CSKA vice president Andrei Vatutin. – There were two other teams that wanted to sign the contract with Papaloukas. One of them reached Final Four this year, the other finished the Euroleague season just one step away from it. This is the reason for us to consider the agreement as a success on the transfer market. The contract signed for three years but there is an NBA option, according to it Papaloukas may break the contract in case he would make the agreement with any of Top NBA clubs before July, 15th.
