Tomorrow CSKA is scheduled to start the Euroleague season. The Ettore Messina squad will play the first game on the road against Napoli at 20.45 CET.
The coaching staff and 12 players arrived in the Italian city. They are forwards Nikita Kurbanov, Matjaz Smodis, David Vanterpool, Andrey Vorontsevich, centers David Andersen, Alexey Savrasenko, Tomas Van Den Spiegel, guards Theodoros Papaloukas, J.R.Holden, Zakhar Pashutin, Anton Ponkrashov and Trajan Langdon.
According to the CSKA head coach Ettore Messina it would be important for his team to move the ball in the offence and to defend the penetrations of the rival. Another challenge for the Army club would be the hall filled with passionate supporters of Napoli.
