CSKA-Trinta played the first two home games in the Championship of the High league against BC Lipetsk. Andrei Maltsev squad won both 108-78 and 84-74.

Game 1: CSKA-Trinta - BC Lipetsk: 108-78

Andrei Maltsev, CSKA-Trinta head coach:

- We started the first game very fast and that was the key as the rival did not have enough players on the bench to continue in the same style. We had good shooting percentage and in general played well both in defense and offense.

Game 2: CSKA-Trinta - BC Lipetsk: 84-74

- Our center Dmitri Peresypkin received an injury in the very start of the game. It was a kind of stress for all the other guys and it took them some time to get focused on the game once again. We started the second half with four steals in a row and we took some advantage. The team decided that the game is done. But Lipetsk is the experienced team and they played some goos defense that became a problem for our players. Anyway it was a great experience for the team to struggle against such a rival.
