Can CSKA survive in a game without Matjaz Smodis, Theodoros Papaloukas and Tomas Van Den Spiegel? Yes, if Ural Great plays the game like today. The score 102-58 speaks itself. Ettore Messina squad won the 5th game in the Superleague.

CSKA – Ural Great Perm: 102-58

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:

- I am happy for my team. We played smart and hard game even without 3 of our leaders. We showed good quality of the game. It was a chance for our young players to spend some time on the court. Anton Ponkrashov stepped up and he shows the right level of the play for our team. It was a good lesson for him to play with Vanterpool and Langdon. It is going to be harder to do the same for Vorontsevich.
