The 2006 Euroleague champion CSKA won the game against the 2006 ULEB Cup holder Dynamo: 75-56. The hosts started the match with upsetting 0-5 but later managed to take control on the game and were ahead by 18 points by the end of the first half.

- We were nervous in the beginning of the game. For the first 4-5 minutes we could not find the right balance. But in the second quarter we limited Dynamo with only 9 points scored. I am very pleased with the win tonight. But there would be a long-long season.
