CSKA has spent 3 days in St. Petersburg and had enough time to get used to Russian second largest city. The Army club had to stay in St. Petersburg for so long because the flight from Istanbul landed in this city - the weather condidtions in Moscow were bad.

From the very start of the gamethe leaders of Russian Superleague showed that they are seriously concerned on the game. At the 4th minute the score was already 10-2 in the team's favour and in the beginning of the 6th minute the difference wsa already 24-4. After this kind of thhe beginning Spartak could do nothing against CSKA. Spartak main weapon - 3-pointers - did not work this time altough last week the team from Petersburg had a real chance to beat Ural Great because of them!

CSKA head coach Dusan Ivkovic let to rest Victor Alexander and Nikos Chatzivrettas.

Right after the game CSKA had a flight to Moscow. This time the team got to Russian capital without any problem.
