PBC CSKA re-sign the contract with the guard Zakhar Pashutin for two more seasons. The player performs for the club from the 2001/02 season.

‘We know that Zakhar had offers from several other Russian clubs, - says CSKA Senior Vice President Andrei Vatutin. – Some of them were ready to guarantee him time on the court. We were happy to learn that the player prefer to win than to guarantee himself minutes on the court. I am sure the choice to stay in CSKA is the best evidence of the wish of the player to prove to everyone that he and his team are the best. And this is exactly the motivation that makes a player the true Army club player. We are grateful to the captain for his decision’.

‘I am happy to stay with the team for two more seasons, - says Zakhar Pashutin. – My personal and the team goals are equal for last 5 seasons, this means another contract is the best choice for me’.
