PBC CSKA signed the new, 3years deal with the guard Anton Ponkrashov (21, 200). At the same time the Army club signed the agreement with BC Khimki which sends the player on loan to the club and returns the guard Alexey Shved (18, 196) to CSKA. Shved spent in BC Khimki half of the last season on loan as the result of Oskar Torres trade.

- I am sure we fund the best possible solution for every side, - says CSKA Senior Vice President Andrei Vatutin. – CSKA signed the new contract with one of the best Russian guards and we have Alexey Shved who performed extremely well at U-20 European championship back in the roster. BC Khimki received the National team player and the club can provide him good infrastructure, good coaching and the most important – enough playing time. The trade was also made in favor of Russian National team. Anton Ponkrashov can become the key player and he should have enough playing time and the chance to show his best at the ULEB Cup and Russian championship. Besides, the next year is the last chance for Ponkrashov to enter NBA Draft. And I guess the leading role in his new team would make his chances for the higher number better.

I want to thank BC Khimki CEO Victor Bychkov for his cooperation. We wish Anton luck in his new club.

- I am happy to sign the new deal with CSKA, - says Anton Ponkrashov. – I hope the club has the same emotions on the matter. As for sending me on loan – I guess it is the best possible solution that can satisfy both me and the club.
