CSKA played the first Euroleague Opening game against Prokom in Poland. The team defense did not show the usual excellence in the first quarter but with the efforts of 9 players out of 12 managed to get the lead to the half time break 45-32.

Prokom vs. CSKA: 69-88

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:

- First of all it was a great experience for CSKA to become a part of the Euroleague Opening game. We knew it was a difficult task. Prokom used to start the Euroleague in a good way. We had difficult start. We did two important things: we did not lost control of ourselves after a difficult start, second – everyone in our deep team was in the mood for the game.
