CSKA signed the contract with center Tomas Van Den Spiegel. The agreement would last until the end of the season 2008/09. The player started the current season at Prokom.

- We are happy to have Tomas back. After all the injuries we suffered this season we need to add some stability to our roster. I am sure Van Den Spiegel is a perfect choice. He is common with the team, with the coaches requests and it would not take him a lot to make it to the team. And by the way Tomas plays excellent this season. He was recognized as the Euroleague MVP of the week. I would like also to thank the owner of Prokom Richard Krause and the head coach Tomas Pacesas for understanding the motivation of the player.

- I am happy to have Tomas back. With the bad luck of Alexey Savrasenko to suffer serious injury I think Tomas is the best choice both as a center and as a person. I hope that like it was 2 years ago he would bring us his energy and positive personality.
Tomas Van Den Spiegel, CSKA center:
- I am happy to receive the opportunity to be back to CSKA. I know it was not easy to sole all the problems with the transfer but now I found myself in a perfect situation. I will be in Moscow tomorrow but I will not be able to play in the Euroleague until the end of the regular season.
