CSKA qualified to Russian Cup Finals by winning a game against the host team UNICS.

UNICS Kazan vs. CSKA: 50-51

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:

- We started the game in a good way. Lavrinovich started to get fouls but UNICS defence change it all. Sokolov became a true factor in the game. They really did not let us to score from under the basket. It is tough for us to play without Vorontsevich and Savrasenko as we have only two experienced Russian players: J.R. and Zakhar Pashutin. In the second half we had poor shooting percentage. UNICS was ahead by 2-4 points and it made us nervous. In the end Siskauskas and J.R. did a good job. Siskauskas penetrated and gave pass to another side. J.R. scored.
