By winning the third game of the half final series versus Dynamo CSKA qualified to the Finals of the Russian championship.

Dynamo Moscow vs. CSKA: 62-76

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:

- In the first half we played with the worse attitude without concentration, defense and so on. Holden and Smodis did not receive any help from their teammates. But they manage to keep the difference. In the second half we played like CSKA. We limited Dynamo with only 9 points in the 3rd quarter and we proved the rule. If one plays aggressive defense the offense becomes more aggressive too.
