CSKA signed Planinic

PBC CSKA signed 2-years contract with Croatian guard Zoran Planinic (26, 199). The player performed for TAU last season.

Andrei Vatutin, CSKA CEO:

- We are happy Planinic accepted our offer. He is a unique player who can perform on three positions, can assist and shoot from the outside. His talent was noticed even in the NBA where he played for two seasons. I think that with Planinic on the roster our potential will grow, our game would become more balanced and it would not be hard for Zoran to understand our philosophy. I also want to thank TAU president Jose Antonio Querejeta for cooperation.

- We wish Papaloukas to continue his career well in another Euroleague team. He made a lot for CSKA and we are grateful to him. As for Planinic I hope he would find quickly his role in the team.

Zoran Planinic, CSKA guard:

- I am very excited to sign the contract with CSKA. It is a great honor for me. I know J.R.Holden, Trajan Langdon and the rest of the players for a long time and I think it would not take me long to get used to the team.
