CSKA says thank you to Thomas Van Den Spiegel

CSKA and Tomas Van Den Spiegel agreed on the early termination of the contract. Belgian basketball player will become a free agent.

Van Den Spiegel returned to CSKA in January 2008, when starting center Alexei Savrasenko has injured his shoulder.

Andrei Vatutin, CSKA CEO:
- We are very grateful to Tomas, who has became a real member of our family. It was not the first time he helped us in difficult moments. We can say that Van Den Spiegel became a kind of a symbol of CSKA – twice he came to the team in the middle of season and both times he won the Euroleague title. I wish Thomas will get a good job in one of the Euroleague clubs and he will have a long and successful career.
