Greece and Croatia with help of CSKA players Nikos Zisis and Zoran Planinic won two games at the first stage of Olympic qualifying tournament and will play in quarterfinals.

As our website already reported, Planinic missed a game against Puerto Rico, won by Croats 95-81, because of a stomach virus. Zisis took part in the defeat of Brazilians - 98-68. CSKA guard scored 10 points (2-pointers 3/5, 3-pointers 1/2, FT 1/1), 1 assist, 5 fouls, 1 turnover in 21 minute.
