Russia will miss the play-offs

In the fourth game of Olympic qualifying tournament Russia suffered a defeat against Australia (80-95) and lost chances to fight for awards. The best scorers for Russia were CSKA players Viktor Khryapa, JR Holden and Aleksey Savrasenko.

Khryapa spent 30.03 on the court, scored 21 points, made all six three point shots, 9 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots.

Holden played almost whole game - 38.54 - scored 20 points, made 4 rebounds and 6 assists.

Savrasenko had 16 points, made 4 rebounds and 1 steal in 19.38.

Andrey Vorontsevich statistics - 3 points, 6 rebounds in 12.05, Viktor Keyru - 1 point, 1 assist and 1 steal in 7.33.

Lithuania defended its status as a Group B favorite and won its fourth game - over Croatia (86-73). CSKA forward Ramunas Siskauskas scored 7 points, made 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in 33.18. One of the best for Croatian team was CSKA guard Zoran Planinic - he scored 11 points, made 3 rebounds and 1 assist in 16.24.

Greece defeated Group A outsider Angola (102-61). Nikos Zisis scored 7 points, made 3 rebounds and 4 assists in 21.13.
