Today PBC CSKA general director Sergei Kushchenko and the agent for Nikolaos Chatzivrettas came to an agreement over the immediate annulment of the contract of the Greek guard, who played for our club last season. Chatzivrettas will likely continue his career with the Greek club Panathinaikos. The decision to annul the contract was made by the club leadership after Marcus Brown joined the team.
Nikos is currently with the Greek national team preparing for the European championships. In a short interview with our site, he said:
«I’m thankful to Sergei Kushchenko, head coach Dusan Ivkovic, my teammates, the club staff and the fans for a great season. I’ll always remember the great year I spent with CSKA. I hope I will make it back to Moscow with my new club.»
