Late yesterday evening our club leadership came to an agreement regarding the loan of CSKA guard Zakhar Pashutin to the Perm club Ural Great for one season. After the end of the European Championships, Pashutin will join the Russian runner-up.
In an interview with our site, Pashutin said:
“I am grateful to the club leadership, the head coach, the team staff and the administration for the wonderfull 2002-2003 season. For the first time in my career I won the Russian championship and played in the Euroleague Final Four. There was a wonderful atmosphere in the team for the entire season, which allowed us to play at such a high level. The decision to continue my career with Ural-Great was a mutual one, together with the CSKA management. We’ll separate for a year but maintain excellent relations.”
