On Sunday in Perm CSKA-2 will start in the first round of the second stage of Russian Superleague for junior teams.

On the second stage CSKA will play against five teams which will fight for the redistributing of the positions before the final stage. Three rounds will be played – they will be hosted by Ural-Great, Dynamo Moscow and UNICS.

“In fact this stage will be just the series of friendly games, - CSKA-2 head coach Andrey Maltsev mentioned. From the other side, young guys are always try to show their best, so I hope the tournament will have very high level of competition. I also hope that the guys are hungry to play because we play official games rarely. On this stage of the season we have the opportunity to use the schemes we worked on during the first stage. Also we played against only three teams before and now we will meet new opponents, new styles. For now Dynamo Moscow and UNICS look as a favorites. I also think that the hosts will demonstrate good basketball, though it depends if they will be able to use the players from the main team. We will play with the full roster with the addition of Maxim Zakharov who will join us just after the Russian Cup Final Four.”
