CSKA played an up-n-down game in the consolation final of Russian Cup against Triumph. Fortunately, after horrible first half the team played successfully in the second half, marked by Siskauskas’ 17 points. For the first time in club’s history CSKA finished third in the National Cup.

CSKA vs. Triumph: 75-69

Ettore Messina:

“After a shameful first half we did what we had to do. We managed to play cohesive against Triumph who missed Bremer and Panin. Only mediocre people can think that it is better to win ‘bronze’ final than to lose in the main final. This means that they do not think they are able to win the main prize.”
