Tournament in Serbia Begins With a Win

In the first game of the Champions Cup, currently being held in the city of Novi Sad (Serbia and Montenegro), CSKA notched an easy win over the Spanish club Unicaja by a score of 92-57.


Group B:
CSKA vs Unicaja: 92-57 (22-12, 22-20, 27-16, 21-9)


In the first 11 minutes against his former club, ex-CSKA center Victor Alexander scored 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. In the second quarter he injured his knee and did not play the rest of the game. Unicaja’s leading scorer was Gabriel German with 18 points.
