CSKA won JBL championship!

Leaving no chance to Spartak St. Petersburg the junior CSKA team won the gold medals of JBL 2008-09.

“Our plan for the game was similar to the one we had versus Khimki, - CSKA JBL head coach Leonid Spirin said. We wanted to press the opponents from the very beginning, paying more attention to defense. And we managed to execute the plan though we did not have injured Ivanov. All the players played great: no surprise, three our players were named the best in the tournament. Strebkov was elected as MVP, Barinov – the best center, Kulagin – the best guard.”
