Saturday evening of the Final Four provides very rare possibility to relax during tough week end. Two CSKA players took their share during the traditional individual prize distribution ceremony.

The ceremony was beautiful. Scene right on the parquet of O2 World Arena, giant screen descended to the floor level, amazing performance by Naturally 7… But the choice of the players was quite controversial. Two CSKA leaders – Ramunas Siskauskas, who got the biggest applause of the night, and Erazem Lorbek were named to the All-Euroleague Second Team only. And the MVP award went to Juan Carlos Navarro who was eaten by J R Holden yesterday.

Also included in the All-Euroleague First Team were Montepaschi’s Terrell McIntyre, TAU’s Igor Rakocevic, Panathinaikos’ Nicola Pekovic and Olympiacos’ Yannis Bouroussis. The Second Team starred also Olympiakos’ Theo Papaloukas, Panathinaikos’ Vasilis Spanoulis and TAU’s Tiago Splitter. Rakocevic received the Alfonso Ford Best Scorer trophy, Panathinaikos’ Dimitrios Diamantidis was named the Best Defensive Player and Partizan’s Novica Velickovic elected as the Best Young Player.
